budding beethovens?

i just held a spring recital for my wonderful piano students. 

hunter isn't in the picture, but he was still there and did perform. 

i love teaching these kids, they are great learners and lots of fun! i think it 

is great that most of my students are boys!! 

hunter performed a song he learned for a seminary talent show.  we were unable to attend because we were on yet ANOTHER trip.  i videotaped the song at this piano recital, but it was not the best recording job.  i am going to have him play it again for me at home and record it.  i will post it at another time.  issy is taking piano and she and i really struggle sometimes to make it through practices and lessons.  HOWEVER, she has really come along way the past few months.  she worked really hard to improve for her performance.  i am proud of both hunter and issy.  hunter is pretty much his own piano teacher these days.  he picks out music he enjoys and then learns it.  i still encourage him to keep up on hymns and we go and practice the organ once in awhile.  he also substitutes in priesthood and is the pianist for seminary.
