we don't do the easter bunny in our family. easter is the one holiday i am grateful i have been able to keep focused on the savior. we spend the week leading up to easter focusing on the final week of the savior's life. each day we read scriptures about all that christ did in his final days on earth. i love this tradition! now that the church has put out bible videos, we also watch those after reading the scriptures. even though the easter bunny doesn't come to our house, i still like to do a "spring egg hunt" with friends. below are a few pics.

we recently took a spring hike up badger mountain.
no one wanted a picture at the top, but i managed a few quick pics before heading down.
i was actually feeling ambitious on this hike(maybe, i was inspired by all the
other runners on the trail) but i decided to run the entire way down. it was so great!!
my lame knees became a little sore, but other than that i enjoyed it and want to do it again sometime!
