another first and last

it is pretty sad to me to think that all of william's firsts are lasts for me.  

i signed my little guy up for kindergarten the other week and because

i am not great at staying on top of the shot thing, we had to get 5 shots

before he was "officially" enrolled. so off to the dr. office we went.

william wan't excited about getting shots, but then i told him
he could get a treat afterward(dq or 711) and he perked right up! he
was actually pretty excited for shot day.

after getting the shots though he said, "that was the
worst thing ever mom!!"
he didn't expect it to hurt so bad.  he did cry a bit(when does
my little guy not cry?) but after a minute he was okay.

the dr. even offered him a sucker and he said, "no thanks,
i'm getting a slurpee and if i have both that would be too
much sugar."  

slurpee heaven...no more tears!

here's to a fabulous kindergarten year!!
