a proud moment

ned has officially graduated as of december 08. however, he isn't officially an attorney until he passes the bar. ned interviewed for an internship with a potential job after 7mo. at a patent firm in spokane and was offered the position based on his passing the patent bar successfully before
mar. 1. he has been preparing for the bar over the course of several months and finally the day to take the bar came. he drove up to spokane, wa and this morning took the patent bar. after 8 hours of testing and many stomach flip flops later he finally called tonight to tell me he passed. it was a very exciting moment. i am so proud of him for working hard and doing his best on this very difficult test today(only about 30% pass). now just one more test to go, the washington state bar and he will be an official patent attorney for the state of washington.

way to go ned!! we love you and are proud of you!

That's awesome Ashley! Way to go Ned!!! When Dave (aka Mike) graduated from law school I made his wife & kids cards too as it is always the combined effort of the whole family to get their "man" through school. The support & encouragement is something that can't be overlooked. So CONGRATULATIONS TO THE WHOLE FAMILY!!!

So excited for you!!! I offered my rather LOUD congrats in the hallway at church yesterday, so I'm sure half the ward heard me! So excited for you all. Ryan said, "Oh man, that's some goooood money they'll be making." So, uh, can I live by you? :)

I'm so glad that Emma likes her Chinese Newspaper, it's so small and tickled me the way she kept talking about it. I'm so glad! And Hunter seemed like he was anxious to try out his chopsticks. I am not the one to show them how...I opted out for a couple plastic utensils after 15 or 20 minutes of unsuccess!
