end of summer and william turns 7!!

band camp started the middle of august.  emma is playing the marimba

this year in the "pit."  so no actual marching.  they have band

camp for 1 week every day and then they start their 3 day a week

practices after that.  she is excited.  this is a little end of band camp demo.

    we went to see the dust devils baseball team one night. 

little side note,

Russell Wilson played for the dust devils once upon a time. 

I think we decided we are not going to be a baseball loving family.

we were pretty much bored most of the time!

 we went to the Benton county parade.  emma was marching with

her band. 

here she is carrying the banner with her friend ryan,

since she isn't actually playing a "marching" band instrument.

were at a youth tubing activity this morning, so they didn't come.

but they are going to meet us at the docks, because after the parade we are

going to celebrate William's bday!

william invited several friends to join us on the boat to do some tubing

for a few hours.  it seemed to be a huge hit with the kids.

 the kids he invited included:  austin, tanner, teigen, reese, braden,

tanner, colton, carson and halle. 

 we spent a little time on the beach, eating snacks and playing in the

dirt.  some kids went with ned to do some wakeboarding.

it was so much fun! 

the next day was sunday(will's actual bday).

afterward we  had a few family friends over to open gifts and eat

ice cream sundaes.
