odds and ends

cutie pa tootie at one of his soccer games.
this is his 2nd season playing soccer and his second year of soccer camp!
he loves it!

one sunday morning we went to the columbia river temple to have a little lesson
about the temple and just spend a nice morning enjoying the weather at the house of the lord.
i was also trying to impress upon william the question, "i feel_______when i go to the temple, without
telling him what he should say in preparation for the upcoming primary program.
i wanted him to experience it for himself.  he ended up saying "i feel happy when i go to
the temple."
william started taking piano lessons this year, from his mom!
he is doing so well! i am impressed with his growth and maturity
at our lessons.  he only has a few breakdowns a month :/
i had an informal fall preview at our house for the students,
william performed two songs!  he did fabulous!
this is the new sign at our school!
 yes, we live in washington!
issy doing her arm exercises at her rock climbing class.
she really enjoys rock climbing! i think it's funny because she
has so many fears, but apparently climbing really tall walls
isn't one of them!
emma and i had fun choosing out some new glasses.
you like?
william taking a swing at the ball in his tennis class.  he started taking tennis
this summer and had a few classes this fall as well.
i totally missed taking pictures of ned's cider press(which he made himself)
and the 18 gallons of cider he squeezed from yummy apples
such as this one!! he was very proud of himself and
we have loved having fresh cider and wassill to drink this fall.

i made a little diaper cake for a girl in my ward.  i had to take a picture
because i was happy i spent the little extra time to make something cute.
since, i can't sew or knit or crochet a blanket..... :(
emma played the bass drum in the marching band this year(it's all about that bass-love that song)!
emma's first marching band performance at a southridge football game.
she's the last bass drum on the back line.  she had such a positive experience
playing in the band and now she wants to start taking piano lessons to
improve her music skills, so she can learn another band instrument! ha! i am
so totally cool with that.
