happy fall y'all

 i'm not the best with holiday traditions.  i've decided that my best holiday tradition is that 

i like to try out new traditions every so often and just see what sticks.

but i have a favorite fall tradition that has stuck around for awhile now! 

pumpkin picking!

 for the past 3 years, we have been going to job's nursery in pasco 

for our pumpkin picking tradition!

i love job's because it is smaller and not commercialized and
 i don't have to hassle with rides, food, parking, etc. just to pick a pumpkin!

issy pie found the perfect pumpkin.  both issy and william went big with the pumpkins
this year!

we found everyone a pumpkin.  i chose the white ones, everyone
else chose orange.  emma was at a band concert in seattle the
day we went so we chose one for her. it was such a gorgeous
fall day! i love how william's hair matches the pumpkins!

time to carve.  only these two did any pumpkin carving this year.  it was a busy
week for hunter and emma and literally they had no time
to carve their pumpkins! and actually i ended up finishing up issy and wills, since we ran out
of time! crazy!
