Anderson Law Weekend Retreat

in september, anderson law took a little weekend retreat to marysville, wa.  the guys rented

a home by the coast for all the staff and their families.  it was the weekend of

isabella's 11th birthday, so happy birthday issy!! 

william loved the jacuzzi.

so the beach was not the best.  it was pretty muddy and you couldn't
really walk out to the water without sinking into the mud.

there was some fun wildlife though.  we found this dying jellyfish.  so pretty,
but sad...
funny story though, while we were all staring down at the jellyfish discussing
its fate, one of the little boys, threw a huge rock on it!!it was soo sad and funny
all at the same time! i think his fate was definitive after that!!

there were tonz of little crabs under the rocks.  we had so much fun
lifting the rocks and watching them all run for safety!

we took the woodby island ferry one day.  just hanging out waiting to board.

while on woodby island, we went kayaking and tried some paddleboarding.

the paddle boarding was tonz easier here than out on the waves in hawaii.

emma did really great!! ned and i tried it too. i was only slightly nervous of falling
in and getting wet.  we didn't have a change of clothes with us, so that would not
have been fun to be wet the rest of the day!

afterwards we went to a thai restaurant for dinner and bought some donuts
at a bakery for dessert.  it was a pretty fun time!
