sacajewea park was having a native american cultural day
a few weeks back so i took emma, issy and william to check it out.
here they are dressed up in some homemade indian attire. actually a girl from our local homeschool group made some of the clothing. pretty impressive.
since the park is right off the columbia,
william couldn't resist a quick dip in the water to cool off.
william was impressed with the engine.
the kids even tried their hand at weaving. william even thought it was pretty cool.
fun afternoon learning about the history of the indians and lewis and clark.
