over the holiday, my mom came to visit from va. and my nephew and his wife and their little boy came over from seattle to visit as well. one afternoon we went ice skating. i used ned's phone to take most of my pictures, but he hasn't sent them to me yet, so i am posting the few i had from my camera before it died.
emma's friend and her family were there too.
this was issy's 3rd time skating and she was able to move off of the wall a bit. she had a lot of fun this time and wasn't as scared of falling as she was the two previous times.
william has been wanting to try ice skating since he was 2. strange! we never watch hockey, but for some reason he is really into hockey. last year when my friend came to visit and we were able to watch her boys play and that reinforced william's desire to try ice skating. he had fun, but was little whiney at times. not unusual, the kids' personality is pretty much whiney or ornery. overall, i think he enjoyed himself.
hunter did great on skates. not a pro, but he is pretty good. i can still spin circles around everyone in my family and go backwards i might add. i am working on my crossover. it used to be easier when i was younger.
jenn and walker had fun as well and issy loved having someone to help her around the ice.
