during sacrament meeting, more specifically during the sacrament: she said this for all to hear!
issy: why do we need to take the bread and water EVERY day?(then she huffs and puffs tiredly)
dad: don't you remember what i told you last week?
issy: yes, but i don't need bread and water to remember jesus, dad! i can remember him without it.
now that i wrote what she said, it doesn't seem as funny. but man we were all busting a gut. i think it was HOW she said it that was soo funny.
after church, during dinner:
mom: how was primary?
issy: good.
mom: did you whine when you didn't get a turn?
issy: yes, i was sad and cried and wiggled in my chair and didn't listen.
mom: i hope you didn't
issy: yep, i did!
what am i going to do with this kid??? on a side note, she did get up on her own, after expressing a desire to give a talk like everyone else, and bear her testimony. she was an example to her siblings, who later got up and bore their testimonies as well!! maybe there is still hope for my little rebel!!

She DID! I remember looking at her and she was NOT happy about her name not getting called. Maybe when Rachel isn't looking I can sneak in an extra popcycle stick into the can...
