So, I am driving home from gymnastic lessons today...not my lessons, Issy's...anyhow, I see an American FLAG hanging in the window of an appt. Interestingly, it is the appt. of someone I know. Almost immediately I am struck with an immense amount of love for AMERICA. If you remember from a previous post I tend to sing corny songs, well as my heart is swelling with pride, my voice is also swelling with the desire to boast songs about our great country. My Country Tis of Thee, America and I am Proud to be an American come flowing forth. Poor Isabella had to endure my attempt at singing with some amount of fluency.
I VOTED today too. Emma was especially excited to accompany me to the polls and take a little part in making history today...she put my ballot into the appropriate slot for me when I was finished voting.
I am GREATFUL for America and my freedoms today!!
