FaLL fLiRTatIONs

i love fall. crisp leaves. colorful leaves. scented leaves. shapely leaves. falling leaves.
blowing leaves. crunchy leaves. dried leaves. wet leaves. gathered leaves. scattered leaves.
YOU NAME IT, I LOVE IT...aLL kinds of LEavES!!

i felt kind of sad today as i noticed that most of the trees have lost all their leaves. even though i know we will have fall again next year...(yeah!!) i was still sad to think it will be several months until the colorful leaves will grace us again with their BEAUTY!!

we took a sunday stroll through the arboretum last week. we had fun looking at and playing in the fall leaves. the girls and i even spent some time climbing one of my favorite trees in the arboretum. i love this tree because it is tall and stately and it has a huge split trunk that makes for great tree climbing.

i wish fall wasn't ending so soon. i wish it could be fall all year. okay, maybe not ALL year but i wish we could just skip winter and have 2 seasons of FaLL!!
