AMAZING!

My husband is AMAZING! Now, I know what you are all thinking.. isn't that a little cliche? And maybe it is, but I truly am amazed at him every day. No, it isn't his birthday(lest we forget how Ashley doesn't remember important days like birthdays, refer to old posts for how I forgot my husbands birthday if you are wondering how you can be a loser too) or our anniversary or anything, I just thought I would send a "blog out" to my hubby today for all the amazing things he does for me.
1. He can find ANYTHING, and I mean ANYTHING on EBAY!! He is a total Ebayer. I need something, he says,"Oh, let me check that out on Ebay." He has bought so many things on Ebay that you would never think you could find in a million years. He has saved us many a PENNY by shopping on Ebay. For example, I am known for losing my keys. This is just part of who I am...a key loser! I have lost keys for my van so many times(and still not made more copies, by the way) that it is getting sort of ridiculous. So anyhow, I finally have lost the only key I have to my outside doors, thus I have no way of locking my car. I call around to some shops and dealerships only to find out that they no longer make that key for my car, since it is more than 10 years old. I am going to have to take it in and get my door relocked. So, I am explaining to Ned my dilemma and he gets on EBAY and within minutes has ordered me not only keys to my car but the little automatic buttony pushy thing for those of us too lazy to stick the key in the lock. They only cost him $5 which saved me about $70 in repairman costs. Anyhow, isn't that in itself worth calling someone AMAZING??
2. He just knows
STUFF! I can ask him about almost anything and he can spit out an intelligent answer. Now, don't get me wrong, he could have just pulled that answer out of his behind, but at least he sounded smart doing it!! But really, he is one of these people that reads things or hears things and can just recall it later. It is kind of nice, since I am not so much that way!!(I will admit, it does bug me at times, but not enough for me not to admire him for it).
3. He can
FIX things! My daughter made a cute Hero Award last year for her dad. One reason she chose her dad as her Hero was because he can(in her own words)"FIX ALMOST ANYTHING." I think that is pretty neat our kids know that about their dad. I love it!! It's broke and all I have to say is, "Umm, Ned something isn't quite right" and he is there fixing it in a jiffy. Well.....maybe not a jiffy, since this leads to my next AMAZING thing Ned does...
4. He is a
FINISHER...when it comes to things he wants to finish. He loves to figure out problems and take something broken and get it working almost NO MATTER HOW LONG IT TAKES. He will stick with it forever. I would have given up days ago and he will just keep at it. It almost bugs me at times, because I would rather just junk it, but he will insist on seeing it through. I never worry he can't fix something. Especially, when it comes to computers!! He is all over the computer thing.
5. He is
COOL. Not in the sense that you may thinking..like cold or awesome..(although he is that too). But he is just very LEVEL-HEADED!! He takes things in stride, doesn't get too ruffled, handles stress well and just kind of goes with the flow. He is a good balance for me because I am the opposite. I am more HOT, I guess you could say. I do tend to be a little more passionate about things...Is that a nice way to put it? I think I can claim red-headed disease on this one, right??? I hope so!! It is nice to have a companion that can help balance you out.
I could go on all day...but you are probably bored by now with all my blabbering on about my husband. Just was thinking about how he makes my life so much BETTER and EASIER for all the AMAZING things he does.
THANKS NED!!

What a blessing! If every woman & every child had a husband/father as wonderful as your Ned is the world would be such a better place! I loved reading this post, it was uplifting.

My brother in law actually once got called out by some of the other husbands in their neighborhood for being too good of a husband! Yikes!! Thankfully he didn't change for them.
