Moving Along.....SLOWLY!!
Well, I had my 2nd cervical exam today and I am happy to report I am an entire 1 1/2 cm. WHOOPY!! Okay, if you can't tell by my narration, that was me being sarcastic. I am about 50% effaced, so I am at least thinning, but the baby's head is still riding high..I didn't ask the station(I forgot). I am amazed it isn't lower, because it sure feels low when I walk. And not to mention needing to go to the bathroom, like every hour. Anyhow, I was hoping to be moving along a little more, since Ned is home now and is about to start school on Saturday, but I guess the baby is just not quite ready. I am trying to be patient, but that is not a virtue I possess naturally so I tend to get a little uptight when I cannot control my world. I am trying many natural labor induction methods but to no avail. I guess this baby is just going to come when it wants and I just need to deal!!!! So, for today I will. I can't guarantee tomorrow I will deal, especially when evening comes around and I can barely walk I am soo swollen, but I will just take it one day at a time for now!! Please send your happy birthing thoughts my way!!

Ash, more progress then last week! Congrats!!
Have you tried caster-oil?
I can totally relate! My goal was to make it until Easton started school. He's almost done with his second week. I feel like I'm just laying on the coach, waiting for the babies to get here. And of course, the girls pass all their weekly tests with flying colors, so apparently they're pretty comfy in there. Sigh. The calm before the storm! :)
Okay, let me clarify. I will try any means, except drinking strange things. I do not feel like vomiting right now. Already been there and done that. Kristi, unfortunately I am doing things like baking bread, picking berries and cleaning my house, instead of tending to this kid. I am sick of doing things to fill my time. I am glad to know I am not the only one who is waiting around to pop. The only good thing that did come out of the appt. is I lost 1 1/2 lbs. YEAH!! Will they induce you by a certain time? I can't wait to hear all about your birthing adventure with twins and see how cute they are going to be..seeing as you already have really cute kids.
Ash--you look great in your pregnancy shot! And I was going to call you last night but it was too late, and then tonight I was about to call you and realized I don't have your number! So call me or email your number and I'll call you. Have you considered acupuncture/acupressure? Someone told me if you get on your hands and knees and scrub all the baseboards in your house with a toothbrush, it's sure to start labor too. Anyway, just keep thinking positive thoughts about an awesome labor and birth experience!
I like the cute preg pic of you and think it is great that you have been so active throughout these last months of your pregnancy. I hope he comes soon for you. It look likes you had a fun time in Bozeman with Ned.
My doc wants me to make it to 38 weeks, but not go much over that, so labor day is going to take on a whole new meaning if they don't get here before then!
Well keep up the good work, despite the sarcasm I sense you are doing awesome! Much better than I would be. We are thinking of you often and can't wait to hear the good news. Call when you can I don't want to interfere while you have time to be with Ned.
Thanks everyone for your support. I got kind of depressed last week, but I am doing much better this week and thinking more positive. I think my hormones are really starting to go whack-o!! I felt great all summer and I guess just wanting to be done is starting to make me a little more emotional!!
