Dear Ned
How is life in Montana? The kids and I miss you and pray for you each day. Issy especially wishes you well in her prayers by saying cute things like, "Bless daddy to be good," "Bless daddy to do good work at his job," "Bless daddy is healthy." She has been waking up at night asking for you and wishing you were coming home soon. WHile she seems to be struggling with the separation, I on the other hand am doing surprisingly well. We are coming up on a month that you have been gone, and I remember I told you to give me a month and I would be calling you crying from burn out. I am happy to report no such feelings at this point. Not that I do not miss you immensely but I think between kids, planning and organizing summer camps, cleaning up leaky roof fiascos, fending off carpenter ants, getting Emma's baptism planned, playing tea party with Issy, NESTING(I cleaned the entire fridge today and decided it is my least favorite chore, even worse than the toilet), family outings, etc. I think I just don't have much time to be too lonely. I think the thing I am missing most is just talking to you each day. So, I really enjoy our long conversations on the phone every couple of days. It helps me keep connected. Brandon came over the other day and he said I should call you crying anyhow just to make you feel needed. Maybe so, but I believe you already know how much I need you. My goodness, the list is endless of the things I have you do for me. It is good for me to have to do things myself once in awhile. Wouldn't ya say?? Besides, how long should one person go before they learn to change their windshield wiper blades anyway?? Anyhow, I just wanted to send a shout out to ya to let you know we are doing well and hoping you aren't too lonely yourself in Montana. We will be sending you a little package in a few days with some of Issy's famous artwork. Love ya LOTS AND LOTS!! Ash

Montana is tonz O fun! Although all I do is stare at a computer screen all day, so it looks about the same as law school. (except my office computer here is not as nice as the one at school, and I can't find solitaire). They keep me quite busy, all I do is research and writing all day long, just finished a 20 page motion trying to fight a court order to compel a client to turn over files to the other side that they really don’t have any rights too. And also finished a memo on whether or not a business owner has a cause of action against the government – I concluded that he can both sue them and win – It is always a good day when the government gets sued (but I’m hoping that he doesn’t ask me to do anymore on the case, because while I would die happy if I could do nothing but sue the government all day long, I didn’t take administrative law, and it is a very large cumbersome body of law that I just am not that interested in – you can’t really sue the government, your just suing some department or administration in the government, with has everything to do with admin law). Wow, this is a boring comment! But if this doesn’t put you to sleep try Jordan and Bryans blog at http://jordanandbryan.blogspot.com
Well love you and the kids – great blog
Ned
You make me laugh Ned. I did check out bryan and jordan's blog and put a link on ours to theirs. Father and son was cancelled tonight, due to flooding at the campsite they were going to. Brandon may still take Hunter fishing tomorrow anyhow. Kids are calling, I guess they don't appreciate me ignoring them for so long. Ttyl Ash
