Miscellaneous happenings

william's new hairdo!  we went shorter this time, he
 looks like a real big boy now!

i took a quick trip down to utah to celebrate courtney's graduation from BYU.  it was
fun to catch up with audrey and her family, my mom and even jenn and walker.

excited for the recent graduate.  after a summer working in utah, she's off
to grad school in ca.  

we even got together with some of my mom's side of the family while we were there.
we went to brunch with a few aunts, uncles and cousins.

the gardens by the library are in bloom.  the girl's and i
went to the library and then spent time reading among the blossoms.
i could do that all day long!! 

celebrated my 39th bday.  we went to the rock for dinner and then ned bought me pineapple
shaped cupcakes, covered in chocolate and sprinkles and a fruit bouquet!  so delish!!

after eating we went to the climbing wall to practice climbing
and  to learn how to belay.  

i love climbing as a family because we can all do it together, no matter
 what your level.  we all have learned to belay so we could belay each other as well.

i didn't realize issy knew so much about climbing.  she
has taken a few classes, but when we got there she was showing me
how to tie the ropes and put on the harnesses.  she was great!!

i had emma snap a photo of me.  i did most of the picture
taking, so i figured i better get one of me doing it too.

issy really loves climbing and our instructor taught her how to climb
 and belay herself.  something she will never learn in a climbing class.

i went up to ensign ranch for a ropes course training in preparation for
 stake girls camp.  i went on a little run through the woods, which was heavenly!!
i really need to live near mountains!!
