a wicked surprise

emma's birthday isn't until the end of june but wicked was in town in may!

what to do??? 

of course, an early birthday surprise!!

we drove up to spokane and spent the afternoon shopping, then...

melting pot with friends for dessert.

then on to the show!

emma loves the music to wicked, so i was super excited to surprise her with
tickets to see wicked.

love this vibrant girl!!

we had fantastic seats, only 19 rows back, orchestra level.
emma was so excited and it was such a fun day to spend together!  she was
such a trooper listening to me ramble on as we drove home late that night!! i
was trying to avoid running off the road due to sleepiness!!
