we celebrated ned's 40th with some friends. i made it a surprise party, which was harder than i thought it would be to keep the secret from him. but he had NO idea, so that made it totally worth it! i made cafe rio copy cat salad's for dinner, and my good friend kate planned a few games. she made posters with pictures through out his life and we guessed how old ned was, everyone had to answer some questions about him too, and we also played a matching game with different facts about him. it was a lot of fun. we had some yummy desserts too and sang happy birthday. ned was even able to blow out all 40 candles!!

on his actual birthday, his lovely office staff bought him lunch, with sushi(his fav) and then that night we took him out for dinner and celebrated as a family!! we love you neddy!! so glad you were born in 1974 and are part of our lives!! happy 40th...old man!
