pumpkin harvest time

pumpkin picking is a favorite tradition, especially when it's from a real pumpkin farm.  i love the smell of a fresh pumpkin patch with all its colors, textures and shapes; and searching for that perfect pumpkin is still exciting for MOST of us. i enjoy seeing what kind of pumpkin everyone is going to choose, for they always seem to match their personalities.
big pumpkin for my BIG pumpkin head!
just the right one
oh wait, maybe this one!

so many choices

"you pick it, you carry it!"

our pumpkin selections, loaded up and ready to go!

we made a few adjustments, and ended up with the lumpy bumpy one
instead for issy! we all thought it would be a perfect witch jack-o-lantern!

" no one help, i can do it myself!"
