sicky, icky

we have truly been blessed with great immune systems in our family.  we rarely get sick and when we do it doesn't last too long and it doesn't always go through everyone in the family.  i am constantly grateful for the blessing of good health in my life.  i don't do vomit very well!!

however, little guy got pretty sick not too long ago.  he had an ear infection, fever, chills, staph infection,and an eye infection all at once!! he was pretty sick!  he didn't really complain about it  and he was still up and moving around so i didn't realize how sick he was until during a play date he kept climbing into his bed to get warm.  finally, i found him asleep while his buddy was playing by himself in the toy room.

the next day he woke up with a high fever and complaints of sore ears, he had a huge sore on his lip and his eye was swollen.  i am not one to run my kids to the doctor until absolutely necessary, but i felt like this was probably a good time to schedule an appt.  luckily, he recovered after just a few days and was back to running around and bouncing off the walls!!
