august was a whirlwind. busy, but lots of fun too! not only did we buy a home and move(up the street and around the corner to be exact), celebrated will's bday, celebrated me and ned's 16th year anniversary, went on vacation to vamipire land and saw family, sent issy and emma to sewing camp, but we even bought a boat and began learning how to wake board.
now that school is back in session, it hasn't seemed to slow down. hunter began high school at delta in richland. issy and emma are attending MCP and doing home school classes with me as well and william started preschool again. ned and i are adjusting to having 2 teenagers in the home. for the most part it is awesome!! they are great kids and very reliable and fun to be around, but once in awhile the hormones are raging and it can get a little interesting. even at their worst, hunter and emma are still pretty mellow!! so far!!
august was fun as well because we were able to spend some time with my oldest sister audrey and her family. they live in florida and so we don't get to see them very often. i love that jenn and walker live out here, because now the frahms are coming out west more. courtney is also attending byu, which is another great reason to travel to land of the desert. we spent time with them up in the olympic peninsula visiting various attractions, going on hikes, tide pooling at the beach and enjoying time together. it was a very nice trip!
we visited the hoh rain forest. not so "rain foresty" the day we were there. more hot and dry. but it was beautiful anyhow. a long hike for the little ones, but once i packed will on my back i moved more quickly!! issy learned how to "do her business" among the trees, which was an adventure in itself.

we visited hurricane ridge. ned's oldest brother, brian and his cute girls and super duper cute boy came with us too! it was a lot of fun to spend time with them and get to know the cousins better.

we also visited cape flattery while we were on the peninsula. cape flattery is the most northwestern point of the contiguous u.s. you can see a little lighthouse right above will's head.
