one of my favorite summer activities to do with kids is painting. we hang up a white sheet, get some washable paint and while wearing swimming suits we paint in the backyard.
one of will's friends, halle, joined us one afternoon for some painting fun.
emma even joined in on the fun. she is such a kid at heart, like her dad.
while we mostly used our hands, the kids did like using paintbrushes as well.

what a fun afternoon activity on a hot day. it is easy clean-up too. just hose the sheet as well as the kids down and you are ready for next time!!!
