we found this great little hike when we were killing time waiting for the road to open up for us to drive to the base of mt. rainier.
we love hikes that end with a waterfall. so this one was perfect.
hunter and emma enjoy doing a little rock climbing/exploration when hiking.
there was a great wooden bridge to cross over to the other side of the falls.
once to the other side we left the path and climbed down
onto the rocks along side of the falls. it was quite slippery,
so we didn't get too close but i was able to snap a quick picture of the falls in the background.
this was looking down the river below the falls from the bridge.
another beautiful hike.
