during spring break this year, which was over a month ago now, we went winter camping. we went to camp zarahemla up by white pass and stayed in a cabin(the only way to winter camp with little kids, in my opinion) right on clear lake. it was beautiful!!
william and i loved eating the fresh snow.
while the weather varied between snowy, windy and rainy, we were able to go hiking one day and it was GORGEOUS. the sun was shining, the sky was blue and the weather was mild. we even had some friends come and join us for a day. we went sledding and hiking and enjoyed a mean game of kick the can. it was lots of fun!

So pretty! Those pics make me miss the mountains so much!
we actually had to drive 2 hours to find the mountains. like you we live in a desert...although i think we are actually a steppe as well so we have more water and foliage than you!! i miss the mountains too. so this was a great getaway for me.
