spring break

spring break: the 1st part

this week was spring break for the kids. it is always cold when you have spring break in the middle of march. however, we have found this great little getaway just 1 1/2 hrs. north of us called raptor reef waterpark. we went last year with a bunch of friends and decided to do it again this year. i think we are planning on it being a yearly tradition. 10 families came this time and we had a fabulous and most EXHAUSTING time. it is amazing how tired you become after 2 days of swimming and waterslides. here are some pictures of the kids swimming. notice william's rolls of blubber...isn't it squishable????

william had an enjoyable time! he was quite tolerable of all the noises and water splashes. don't you just love these crazy amazing rolls of FAT!!!????? it is hilarious!

spring break: the 2nd part

after spending 2 days in hayden, id., we headed o ver to spokane to visit ned and spend a few days with him. even though he was working, we were able to see him in the evenings..so that was fun...or was it??? (ask me later)

here the kids are having fun playing on a giant radio flyer wagon and large blocks at the riverfront park, downtown spokane.

there were a ton of ducks, geese and seagulls and this very nice gentleman gave us some bagels to feed them.

you can't go to riverfront park and not take a ride on the carousel.

after playing we went to see the waterfalls. i believe there are 3 sets...well i saw three anyhow. here we are at the smallest of the 3.

one evening we walked over to ned's office to see his work space. it is a nice walk, it only takes about 15min. to get there. he is in the tallest building in spokane(19 stories high, woohoo)and he is on the 14th level. his office has a nice big window over looking the city, not to mention suicides(want another story, you can inquire). ps..the police found his car...yeah!
