just in...

ned called me this morning to inform me that his car, a purplish plymouth breeze, has been stolen. now, under other circumstances, we may have been okay about this. it is kind of looking and acting terrible anyhow(we often joke about hoping it would get stolen)....but when you are just out of school, don't expect a paycheck for another month and a half and are barely going to survive until then, not to mention you are living away from your family and rely on a car to take you to them, this is not an ideal situation.
on the upside, the police said that 80% of stolen cars in spokane are retrieved. it may take a few weeks, but there is a pretty good chance we could see it again. we can only hope!!

until then, i will need to figure out how to break the BAD news, that dad won't be home for awhile, to the kids!

That stinks Ash! I'm sorry for you and the kids, and for Ned too that he won't be able to make it home for a while. That's got to be hard for him. I'm sure he will miss you all terribly!

That's nice that the chances of recovering the car are good. Best of luck to you. :)

That's a bummer...hopefully they find it soon. Hope that Mr. Will decides to sleep for you tonight. :D

So sorry about your purple car! I remember when you had two purple cars. I hope the joyriders abandon the car soon.

When Steve was in Medical School in Portland his car got stolen and they found it about a week later on the side of the road on its way to the ski hill - it ran out of gas! It is an odd feeling to have someone steel your car! Hope they find it and he can come home soon!

So sorry to hear about that, I miss everything when I'm out of town. I tried calling you earlier today to see how you were doing and to chat and stuff, but I left a message. Call if you need anything!

Sometimes I wonder what people are thinking in their heads! Seriously! How can people justify doing things like that? It's just boggles my mind! I hope they find it!
