emma came home from school today and announced, "today was a great day!"
me: why was your day so great?
her: we had a math test, an AR test and a spelling test....she said this excitedly!
me surprised, inquired further: why did that make your day so great, that sounds pretty hard?
her: looking at me with a huge smile: i don't know, it just was.
me: that's all, really??
emma: yeah, i don't know i just always love fridays because it means no more school and no homework...plus we did art today and i LOVE art. so, even though i had tests it was still a great day.
me: okay, awesome.
moral: even amongst the hard things, there is always something to smile about that can make our lives great.

Your kids are so cute! I can't believe how big they are getting! I saw the comment on my wedding blog, my friend Susie (Interior Design professor at USU) and I are doing the wedding thing. It's been fun! I have been doing a little of the pictures off and on, it's been fun, still learning though! Next time you guys are up here, we should have a dinner party to catch up!
