"ashley please meet your party at the service counter."
i hear this statement over the intercom at walmart.
i think in my mind, hmmm...that is weird they don't say a last name, there is probably more than one ashley in this place.
as i continue shopping, i hear the statement again and then at that exact moment i realize isabella isn't anywhere in sight.
it finally clicks in my blockheaded mind that issy is probably the party at the service counter.
i make a mad dash for the front of the store, where my smiling little girl is calmly and patiently waiting for me.
no stress or worry on her face...just the comment,"mommy you forgot me again!"
(just for the record, it only happened 1 other time in macy's..and techinically i didn't forget, i just couldn't find her)

Poor Issy! That is terrible!! :) At least you had Will, right?!!
I'm just messing with ya. So easy to lose things...even kids. Love ya - can't wait to see you, Ned and your FOUR kids in a week!
That's such a scary feeling, I lost Di when she was about 18 months old! Hope you have a great Christmas! I miss our visits.
f-u-n-n-y. glad she remained calm. :)
