Camping Trip to Elk Reservoir

This year to celebrate the 24th of July, our ward went on a camping trip to Elk Reservior. It was such a blast!!! There were a lot of families that came and all had a fabulous time. Many families had canoes and kayaks to share and the kids spent most of their time in these, swimming or fishing. They had a dutch oven cook off(which was sooo yummy) and we made homemade lanterns and butter with the kids. I even was able to do some kayaking myself, but unfortunately I do not have any pictures of myself. I have a friend who has some pics, so I will have to ask her to email me some to post for later. Me, Hunter and Emma all decided we definitely need to invest in a canoe and a kayak for future family adventures. They were sooo much fun!!

Hunter doing what he loved best, Kayaking.

One job of the kayakers seemed to be towing lonely swimmers attempting to making it across the reservoir.

Hunter loved kayaking. Here he is trying out a single-man kayak.

Issy fishing with her friends' dad. She caught 2 fish, here is a pic with one of those fish.
