So, Ned was really busy with finals on my birthday this year, so I decided to call up some pals and get together for a celebration. I LOVE Mexican food/Spanish food, so we went out for Mexican and had a great time. I unfortunately had to wear a Sombrero and be serenaded, which was a highlight for my friends more than it was for me.
What is quite interesting about this group is that I am actually the youngest one here.
Here are some gifts they gave me. I told them not to bring gifts, but they didn't listen.
My friend makes sticker sayings and she made this tile for me with the saying, "Strangers are just friends waiting to happen."
This is a beautiful bonsai plant...which has actually turned out to be rather low maintance. My kind of plant.
I love this beautiful bag my friend from Guatemala gave me.

My birthday is May 4. ALmost cinco de mayo, but not quite. I did have a great time, and thanks. I always feel so fat and gross.
