ANNOUNCEMENT!!

Well for those of you who are not aware, we are expecting our 4th child and our last. He/She is due to arrive August 22(or there abouts, since I often have my babies early)!! For the past 2 months, I have been struggling to keep afloat admist intense vomiting and nausea. I expect to be sick, I have been with all of my kids, but this was above anything I could have imagined. I estimate to have vomited well over 100 times in the past 2 months, which is evidenced by the pain in my throat and chest(not to mention the blood in the vomit). I can truly relate to those ladies I have met in my life who have had morning sickness so severe you can barely get out of bed during the day. I tried different medications to help combat, to no avail. So, luckily I am married to a saint and I have WONDERFUL friends who have rallied around me and my family during this dark time. Ned gave up treasured study time to come home as soon as class was over to cook, clean and care for the kids. He did all the shopping, since stepping foot into a grocery store was out of the question and lovingly met my demands. Because cooking was almost out of the question, since the smells would send me into vomiting attacks, my dear friends brought in meals, previously cooked, to help feed my family. Many friends helped watch my kids and take them to lessons when I was unable to get out of bed. I am greatful I was not this sick with my earlier pregnancies, since my kids are a little older and able to care in part for themselves. I am happy to announce that I have been vomit-free for 2 days now and the nausea has subsided. It is lovely to be able to cook and clean and even drink a glass of water without throwing it up!! I am able to go to church again, begin my volunteering again and visit with my own children about their day, without being preoccupied with throwing up!!! The sun has begun to shine as well and the snow has ceased for the time being and so LIFE IS GOOD!!!
